Hi BP community. I am looking for some ideas to find multi family investors looking for passive investment opportunities. Do you recommend any particular meetups with real investors or other networking events?

I am going to syndicate multi family deals and am looking to build my financial pipeline first. I have owned and managed single family rentals for 14+ years and am ready to move to multi family. Thanks for the advice.

@Teresa Alvarez if you want to wholesale...its all about finding discounted deals. If you can find the deals you will succeed. There are a lot of programs, courses and coaching with their pitches. They all work to some degree but you need more focus. You need to find a super targeted niche that you know well and match that with your unique skills to come up with a plan to find deals.

Dallas is one of the most saturated wholesaler markets in the country. If I was starting over today and looking for advice this is what I would want to hear.

@Brendan Hales there are many ways to find deals. Learn on BP and podcasts what the methods are and see where you should start. If you have experience with remodeling for example I would start there. Master one marketing technique then stack another.

@Nick Taylor I agree with Neil on the strategy. I am a RE investor in DFW and have developed a system for off market deals through SEO. Let me know what kind of property you will be looking for and the area and we will make a note.

Dont feel bad about asking friends for rent. You will be providing a cheaper option to them then living in an apartment on their own and it will be fun. I did this back in the day and it was a great way to pay a mortgage down fast.
