Hi Adam, EXP brokerage seems to have a lot of investor agents.  Check and see if they have a branch in your area.

Thanks Ericka, I’ll look into it. Seems like a lot of seasoned investor agents like more hands off brokerages. Since I’m brand new to it I’ll need some guidance. Is it a bad idea to start off with one of the major names for experience first?

Hey, I just passed my real estate exam and I’m looking for a brokerage to hang my license in the Tampa Bay Area. I’m located in St. Petersburg, FL specifically.

Does anyone have advice for finding a brokerage if my interest is primarily in investment properties and property management? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Adam, I have a lot of local great small broker shops that I can connect you with. Happy to chat!

Thanks Devin, I’d appreciate the connection!

Hey Everyone,

My name is Adam, I’m looking to make connections with people in the Tampa Bay Area. I just moved here a few months ago and My wife and I are hoping to buy a home toward the end of the year. There seems like so many cool places to live so any suggestions would be great.

A little about me, I’m 26 renting in St. Pete right now. I do door to door/ in home sales for windows and roofs. I like it because I get to see a lot of cool people and different neighborhoods.

My goals are to buy a home with my wife by the end of the year and get my real estate license. My long term goal is to buy my first multifamily property before I’m 30 and use that money to help with my parents retirement.

I’d love to make connections with people who are goal oriented as well and can possibly help each other achieve our goals. Feel free to respond or connect!

@Colton Hahn I’d like to go all in and be an investor full time. I’ll have to take a look into syndication though. Im not sure I fully understand it.

@Tyler Peitzmeier thanks for sharing the tips!

If I were an LP on someone else’s deal, what would I be bringing to the table as a beginner? Or how could I bring value to the deal?

@William Costello I appreciate the advice, meetups are a great idea. I haven’t looked much into syndication it seemed like something that was a little more advanced. Is that something you do yourself?
