@Faycal Bouab according to my CPA, for furniture we bought for our STRs on Facebook market, anything under 2500 he wasn’t worried about invoices or receipts. Just as long as we logged everything and kept track of what was what.

@Paul Herman I've used a HELOC towards the down payment on a 2nd home loan as well. No money out of pocket. As long as the bank is okay with the DTI, it's an ideal way to get started.

My brother and I have 3 single family rentals and we're ready to venture into the Multifamily/commercial space. Looking to connect with someone in the Twin Cities with experience in that arena, as well as commercial brokers. Thanks!

I would consider a HELOC in this situation as well. The rates on HELOCs are going up as well but it's comforting to have my primary residence locked in at a lower interest rate. I got my HELOC at 95% LTV which was plenty to put towards another property and pay down with cash flow.

@Alice Yu my wife has set up both of ours. She does it for $1000 per room plus her travel costs. She’s really good.

@Prasad Ma we have an STR in Cape Coral. It's such an affordable market compared the rest of south Florida. I think there's more room for appreciation. Cape Coral is also a great beginners market because it's a very simple market to get the hang of with all of the houses being pretty much the same. Let me know if you have any questions!

@Chris Holt I take AIRDNA with a grain of salt because their number fluctuate with the seasons.

You’re better off sifting through Airbnb listings on your own if you really want to get to know a market’s potential.

Or ask on here. There’s plenty of us in every vacation market.
