@Ryan Hampton we’ve done it! It’s more debt pay down and less out of pocket. Your cash flow has to be really strong, but I wouldn’t do it any other way!

@Deshay Hudson we’re using Hall CPA for the first time this year. I don’t have too much info for you but apparently they use an online program to estimate it. It’s like 300 bucks. Totally worth it for the amount of money we’re getting back because of it.

@Josh Myrick the Short Term Shop data seemed too good to be true for me. But our Blue Ridge place is spot on for the 75th percentile. AIRDNA is so weird. The data fluctuates every day.

@Kiran K. I would unlist it and relist it yourself. It’s really not hard at all. Message me if you have any questions. We’re all happy to help!

@Nicholas Libertin I have a blue ridge STR. The vacancy rates look daunting on AIRDNA, but I swear they only grab like 3 months of data at a time, because we were pretty booked Jan and Feb, but we're starting to be fully booked for spring. I wouldn't worry at all if you have a view and good pics.

@Yovana Vest my aunt owns a half of a duplex. She complains out the other owner not willing to make any repairs, such as driveway and roof. Seems like a frustrating issue, but could be a cheaper way to get a door.

@Matt Goodson our real estate CPA seemed more than comfortable using the cost seg websites over an actual in-person study. Says it costs under $500 and is accepted by the IRS. I can’t give you any more info yet because we haven’t finished our taxes and this is our first year doing them.
