@Eli Shicker sounds exciting! Congrats on your success! We have 580 units across 5 different property managers and all use either Buildium and Apfolio. I only have experience from the “client” side, but both seem First class. You can request a demo online for them.

@Caitlyn Richardson Congratulations on paying off the debt and for making the decision to invest in real estate! BP as well as your local REIA is a great place to network.

Looks like we may have similar career paths, I also started my career as a Financial Advisor just investing in real Estate on the side, a few years ago real estate

investing overtook the advisory business!

@Brian Garrett I feel your pain and was in the same position when I was only investing in Northern NJ. Since then we’ve started syndicating larger deals in other markets in both CO-GP and LP relationships. I physically moved to the Tampa area a few months ago and expect to close on a 16 unit value add. Hoping to add 100+ units in the Tampa MSA this year and plan to do so with partners. Maybe we should discuss further???

@Edwin Epperson I'm told the Tampa REIA will resume in person meetings this month, have you ever been to one? I'm thinking about checking it out

@Carol Hopwood Welcome! You will find a lot of great info and great people her on BP! I'd also suggest attending a few REIA meetings, I'm checking one out in Tampa next week.

If you need bridge/renovation loans we might be able to help. We lend and also selectively

do JV deals

Hi @Austin Begley, Congratulations on your acquisition! I co-own a RE brokerage company that has a property management division.  I also personally invest throughout Sussex county and have several rental properties in the area.  Are you looking for property management throughout the year or only tenant placement and screening? Feel free to PM me

@Mark DiPietro we have a few units in Statesville and have been very happy with the performance. They were managed by Hunter Property management for several years but last year Lake Norman Realty bought them out. It appears as though there upper management and broker are better suited for vacation rentals and don’t Handel tenant issues well. We had lots of problems with them after they took over and have since changed to Carolina Landmark Realty. So far they have been good

@Meghan White we are cash buyers of single and multifamily, heavy value add in Morris and Sussex Counties. We are also

Buyer of value add commercial and multifamily in the Rest of NJ and FL

these are pretty similar rates and terms we are getting from smaller banks here in NJ. Relationship definitely helps out a lot
