Post: Need Attorney review of Contract (State of Maryland)

I am a wholesaler in MD and I am trying to get my Real Estate business started. I recently got an assignment of contract from an attorney that I paid for. I was wondering if someone would be able to take a look at it for any errors or things that should be added on?

I just a second opinion in determining if this contract is good to go for my real estate business.

I personally feel that this contract may need to be revised a little. Also I am not sure about a couple of things on this contact such as where it says seller.

If an attorney is available and would like to help I am willing to pay a small fee for an attorney to review. However, I do not have much capital. Please message me your email and I will send the contract to you by email. (By email only because I paid for the contract and do not want other people to utilize it.)

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Everyone,

I have seen this post asked before and it was not answered.

Does anyone know of an attorney who specializes in real estate in MD?

I just need an assignment contract made and a buy-sell agreement made. I am having a lot trouble finding a real estate attorney who will assist me in MD. I have tried Google and reached out but no one has gotten back.

If anyone can send me advice for one. That would be fantastic!!

Thank you.

@Deborah Burian

Well I just do not have time to answer the phone which is why I am looking for something else. I would love to do the job myself but I don’t have the time. Is there one you could recommend?

I have a problem. I am ready to start wholesaling and sending out letters to possible leads. However, I work a full-time job and have barely any time to answer my cell phone. The problem here is if someone calls me I will not be able to answer my cell phone and talk to the person on the other side. This could result in the leads calling other wholesalers and I do not want this to happen.

To anyone out there who has had this happen to them. What is the best solution to this problem? Should I get a virtual assistant or use a special service?

Please let me know!

Thanks!

The problem is, if I put ads up on Facebook I have to pay for them.

Also I found out that Craigslist still allows you to post stuff up under Real Estate for Free. I was not looking in the right section. My fault.

Hey Everyone,

I am new to real estate and I wanted to post an event regarding how to invest in real estate. The problem is I am very low with funds and was going to use Craigslist as a way to post stuff up online. The problem is I have the ads ready regarding an event I want to post and I find out the Craigslist is charging for posting stuff up now.

I am very irritated about this because Craigslist started doing this back in April. I read this from an article.

I wanted to ask everyone on Bigger Pockets if there are any websites in which I can post up ads about real estate or at least put of posts regarding a real estate event. It sucks I cannot put stuff up on Craigslist anymore for free as I am just starting in Real Estate and want to expand and start my business.

Any advice would be helpful!

What about Frederick county or Howard??

I was thinking of looking for distressed properties there.

I am just trying to find a good area to find deals.

Hello fellow BP members,

I have been doing quite a lot of research regarding Wholesaling in the state of Maryland. I am itching to get started with wholesaling however I have noticed a lot of the REI clubs I look up on Meetup.com do not meet until the end the of the month. I wanted to ask if there were any local wholesalers in the Montgomery County whom I would be able to connect with in order to grow my network and ask a few questions regarding the real estate here in Maryland.

I want to let everyone know I am not looking for mentor, not yet at least. I just need to know about the real estate in the area along with how best to start a wholesaling business in Maryland, particularly in the Montgomery County area.

Any replies would be helpful.

Thank you.
