After reading J. Scott's "The Book on Flipping Houses" I'm seriously considering getting my real estate license for the education and access to the MLS. Any advice on how to find a good broker in charge to work with in order to facilitate this?

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

@Rob Orazi - It looks like I missed it last night but I'll be coming next month.  Thanks for the info.

Hello,

I'm new to BP, Raleigh, and fairly new to REI. I've had a few rentals over the years but I'm looking to move more heavily into RE as a life. I'm focused right now on learning, reading all the material I can get my hands on, but would like to move into action fairly soon here. I would like to start networking the active investors in the community and get a feel for the market.

I've gathered from these forums and other sources that Raleigh/Durham has a fairly good rental market but how is the wholesaling/flipping market here?  Any advice on where a newbie should focus his efforts in this market?

Thanks.   I'm looking forward to participating in discussions.
