Thinking about getting my real estate license

After reading J. Scott's "The Book on Flipping Houses" I'm seriously considering getting my real estate license for the education and access to the MLS. Any advice on how to find a good broker in charge to work with in order to facilitate this?

@Aaron Aho,

What is it you think the license will do for you?

If you want the agent's / broker's education, take the class(es) and pass their final exam. Whether to sit for the state test is another question. You'll want to talk to investors on both sides: those who have their license and those who have chosen not to get one.

Remember, however, that neither agents NOR brokers are educated by those classes on any important aspects of being an investor.
