Where in Chicago are you from? I reside in Wrigleyville area, but invest all over the chicagoland are including NW Indiana.

I would love to use your real name, but I don't see it anywere ,might I inquire as to what it is?

Where in Chicagoland are you from?

Have you attended any clubs? (http://www.wcrt.org) is a good one.

Now that you have been thinking about REI it is time for you to start taking some action. Put a plan together and remember that even the longet journey begins with a single step!

As usual John raises some great points.

I always look at the Secretary of State site to ensure the name I want is available. Then I check to see if the .com domain is available. (not the .net one)

As to the name, easy to spell so if you say it, they can type it in.

Think about names, like CURT, or is it KURT?

So you want a name that is easy to spell.

Yo Chuppy, whats up?

Sorry that name just is fun to say!!

Great job working in Indiana. I know many people working investments in Indiana. I have gone as far east as Michigan City, but am always up for hearing about other areas where I can invest.

Well you could attend a local REI Club and offer your services for going door to door with flyers or doorhangers.

I have used vonage for several YEARS now. I was one of the first 100 customers (at least that is what they keep telling me).

I haven't had many bad experiences with them outside of the usual growing pains in the beginning.

I highly recommend it, and yes, I like the referral program they have. I have received several free months from having friends and associates sign up.

Just about every time I contact the bank, they refer me right back to the agent. It is a pain, but sometimes you have to work the system.

So rather than remove them from the line, find out how you can work with the agent. See what motivates the agent and get them on your side. Maybe even the agent will start calling you the minute they get they get the property from the bank before they publish the listing.

Well, the WCRT is currently developing a "franchise" plan, so if you don't find a club, you could always start one there yourself!
