Investing Can Be a lonely game

I recently started a discussion on the BP Facebook page about how lonely this space can be, it can be especially difficult when you are first starting out and you are trying to pay off debt while all your family and friends are out house, car and stuff shopping, man these times can be very difficult. My favorite memories from the earlier days are when the weekends come and everybody is wanting you to run around and have a good time with them but instead you are trying to finish up a rehab project or you spend your birthdays and holidays in a Lowes or Home Depot, these make for some good date night memories.
I spend so much time in these stores I bound to have lots of stock in them by now, don't I wish.
This life can make for some lonely times because most of your family and friends will not understand why you work so much, but thats ok because your life is your journey and what you make of it.

Life is not about the accumulation of things or the amount of money we have for us, to me life is about experiences with family and friends and the memories we can make together.
