5 Rules To Earn Money On YouTube

Normal 1584289026 Dwefrgth

You might love filming videos and sharing them with the world, and no matter what your content is about, getting feedback always matters since it motivates you to get better at it. Now imagine how cool it would be to turn your favorite hobby into your career and get profit from it.
Here are some requirements you have to meet in order to get ads on your videos:

1. Be at least 18 years old.

Even though people of any age can actually make videos and upload them to the website, you have to be at least 18 years old or have a legal guardian older than 18 years of age who can handle your payments via AdSense.

2. Gain Subscribers.
According to YouTube, you need to have at least 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of views in a year to be eligible for joining the Google AdSense program.

3. Make Sure Your Channel Meets YouTube’s Policies and Guidelines.

Before letting you gain profit from ads, YouTube’s team actually reviews your channel, checking your content and after decides if it’s advertiser-friendly. Basically, your videos shouldn’t have inappropriate language used in it, shown violence or adult content, hateful speech and etc.

4. Earn at least 100$.
After Joining the AdSense program, you get paid monthly, but you do have to earn at least 100 USD in order for money to get sent to you. Meaning, if you won’t be able to gain enough views, or make enough videos in a specific month, you are left with nothing at all.

5. Never use copyrighted content.

You might think, that after finishing all these steps, you could finally relax and enjoy some coin in your bank account. But no matter how small or big your channel is, you have to always avoid using copyrighted content, such as music in your videos since most of the entertainment companies will claim the whole video and take all your ad revenue.
