Title Insurance and Survey

Good Day, so in our state(VA) title insurance and survey, both are optional and add up to nearly $2200-$2500.

It's a HOA based community, which is 15-20 years old. Should I skip title insurance or not a good idea?

Have read mixed reviews and feedback in terms of title insurance - but appreciate all the advice and inputs. Thank you

Regarding title insurance.....if you get it, you wont need it....and if you dont get it, you will end up needing it.
