Does anyone know a good insurance company in the Lehigh Valley area? I am looking to get a few quotes on a landlord insurance policy.

Thanks,
Christian

Christian,

You need to consider your future needs as well as current when starting up a relationship with an agent:

1.  Will you be working in PA only or will you be investing in other states.

2.  Will you be strictly 1-4 family properties or will you be growing into apt. bldgs. (5+ units)

3.  Will you be hiring any employees

4.  Will you be doing any new construction or Flips

5.  Will you be doing any real estate sales or leasing

6.  Will you be partnering on deals

If any of the above are possibly in your future and you don't want to be dealing with multiple agents.   Another thing to consider when selecting an agent is how many companies do they represent.   I find that often, the best company in one town is not the best in another.
