My home insurance write an estimate for the water damage.

Replacement Cost Vale                                            $19,000

Less Depreciation                                                       (2,000)

   ---------

Actual Cash Value                                                      $17,000

Less Deductible                                                    (1,000)

Less Prior Payments                                                     (8,500)

                                                                                     -----------

Net Claim Remaining                                            $7,500

Total Recoverable Depreciation                                     $2,000

Net Claim Remaining if Depreciation is Recovered        $9,500

I have three questions.

1) Does it mean the insurer still owes $9,500?

2) The plumbing invoice is $2,500 and water mitigation invoice is $3,500. In order to receive the recoverable depreciation, how much can the insured spend for the rebuild?

3) Is it correct all the receipts in the final must be at least $$19,000 in order to receive the recoverable depreciation $2,000?

Thank you for your answer.
