Hello friends!  I am closing on my FIRST RENTAL in a month!  Woot Woot!  Finally!  It is a condo, and we need to get insurance lined up soon. I am looking for some advice on the best policy to seek and where.  Condo is in Fort Collins, CO.  Thanks for any advice or references you would like to share!

@Sasha Sulkosky Congrats!

You will want to start with checking with your current insurance agent who writes your personal home & Auto.  It is very possible you can add a rental to your personal lines package policy for very little.  A single condo should be $100-$200 per year.

If pricing seems too high, you can talk with an independent agent such as @Brian Armstrong who can find you alternatives.

Adding rentals to your personal policy only works for your first few units.  Most companies require you to move to a commercial policy after 4-6 units.
