Question for commercial insurance brokers...

I recently heard that some insurance companies are requiring commercial building policy holders to complete an Infrared Electrical Inspection annually (more frequently for hospitals).  I was just curious if this is a trend that people are seeing.  The statement was made by a vendor selling IR cameras so I would love to verify if this a widespread trend or not.

While part of a good risk management program.  Not a requirement at this point anywhere I know of.  Many places such as hospitals and other institutions you are referring to carry deductibles of $100,000 to $1,000,000 meaning that they have a big chunk of deductible when something happens, so they look at risk management to reduce the risk of loss.
