Experience with Steadily for short term rental insurance

Hi All! I wanted to see what folks' experience has been with Steadily for STR insurance. They are quick and responsive in terms of providing a quote, doing paperwork, and then answering questions, but I haven't actually had an issue yet. Anyone work with them and have some feedback for me?

Steadily Insurance Company
Caution to anyone choosing to use Steadily insurance. I worked with one of their reps to put insurance in place at my rental property located in Orange Beach, Al. The initial quote came in at $11,533 which I verified the details with my assigned agent and ask what I needed to put into place. He sent me the finance option which included my down payment of $2999.53 which I agreed to and then ask when should I cancel my current a time policy. Based on all the information I was given by phone and email I set my policy to cancel on 5/08/24 and approved the down payment charge on my card on 5/05/24. On the morning of 5/08 I received a email verification that I replied back to confirming everything was correct. At 1:35 I emailed requesting for proof of my insurance was in place at 5:35 he replied that everything was good and she be bound done by this afternoon or the latest Friday morning. Early the next morning I received an email stating the company would not honor my policy but they had another one that they could place it with immediately, but at a rate of $14,374. I then emailed and called the rep that this appeared to be a bait and switch tactic and if needed would get my attorney involved. He replied that he was working with his management to get resolve in this issue which he agreed was bad business. I called that afternoon to check on my policy before going into the weekend especially seeing I had renters checking in. I got no reply through the weekend so I found another company on Saturday that actually quoted me $11,755.00 and was able to put my insurance in place by with in one hour.I emailed my Steadily rep immediately and requested my $2995.53 be reimbursed. I got no reply so emailed again on Monday morning where I got a reply to contact Steadily directly. After contact the billing department they said that my complaint was sent to management. I ask where my money was and he said it was tied up in a third party and may take at least 60-days to get my money returned. I have called the rep and emailed with no further communication. I would be very cautious of engaging with Steadily especially in the initial quoting and payment process.
