PropStrean vs Deal Machine
Would you recommend deal machine over propstrean or would you use them simultaneously ?

I definitely recommend Propstream as there's so much you can do in there to locate and research properties. You can use it for marketing, too, but I don't use that part. I might, but we'll have to see how that pans out.
I had both, but I chose to D4D differently than just random driving. I locate potential properties in Propstream, and then use Batch Geocode to do my driving. I import my target addresses in there, it plans my route to be as efficient as possible (can save you hours of driving), and then I just take notes on the properties I'm looking at as well as whatever I might see along the way. I feel it's more focused that way.
