With no disrespect meant, you're jumping in with both feet with no understanding of the process, contracts, etc. Don't believe what the gurus tell you. You DO need some education on this matter before proceeding. Since you don't know the basics on contracts, you certainly won't understand the meaning of the provisions contained in the contract. Do yourself and this industry a favor and team up with a seasoned Assignor (12 to 15 assignments), someone who can sit down and actually explain what you'd be signing and assigning. Someone who knows how to look at a title commitment and determine if issues exist. Someone who knows property values, repair costs, etc.
