How do you approach a seller as a wholesaler for the first time? What is the correct way to say you’re interested?

If you are asking that question here, you definitely aren't ready to approach a seller as a wholesaler. Do you have a wholesale contract ready? Do you have money to close if you can't assign the contract? Do you have a buyer's list or someone in mind for the property right away? If all are no, why would someone want to sign a contract with you that you are going to try to learn how to assign in online forums? Read the forums, read books, get really ready before approaching sellers or go to REIs and make friends with a wholesaler who may show you the ropes if you have skills that could help their business.
