Wholesale Fee Not on HUD1

I am buying a property through a wholesaler with a HML and we have run into an issue. The wholesaler does not want the assignment fee to be on the HUD1 and the HML wants it to be on the HUD1. If it is not included on the HUD1 how will the wholesaler make his money on the deal? The wholesaler said if it is included on the HUD then the deal will not go through. I thought they were normally included on the HUD as a consultant fee or something.
