Mobile home investors

Brittney Kemp
Posted

I'm here in Central Florida where there's a plethora of mobile homes and mhp pretty much covering the entire state. I became interested in this market and business because Central Florida seems to be a awesome opportunity for investors. Mobile homes are new for me however and I've came across soo many mobile homes but have a hard time finding investors that will buy them individually. Is buying individual mobile homes not something investors are at all interested in. In my short experience, it seems like I'd have to wholesale an entire park just to find a buyer. Any suggestions??

Hi @Brittney Kemp. I have been involved in many aspects of REI for almost 2 decades. Though I wrote a book on multifamily, I expanded to MHP (mobile home parks) and self-storage investing a few years ago. I love it!

But warning: I recommend that you do not try to own and lease individual mobile homes. Everyone I know in the MHP business hates owning individual mobile homes. Many, including me, have tried owning individual mobile homes.  It was a disaster for me and others, and I recommend that no one do that.

Feel free to message me and I'll be glad to send you a free report on MHP investing.
