Cold calling nervousness

Cold called 50 potential sellers today for the first time and can’t help but think i sounded absolutely horrible. Fumbling over words, probably lost a couple deals, and got about 10 people to hang up on me. I definitely won’t give up or let it slow me down in any way but my question is, how long did it take you guys to get over cold calling nerves and how do you deal with someone that has a horrible attitude towards you?

Thanks in advance.

Well old John Wayne would probably just have a whiskey.
