PropertyTaxRecords.org for RE investing?

Hi all,

Still quite a newbie - have been looking around to find my first deal, and as I was looking for properties I came across PropertyTaxRecords.org. I was hoping to get a few opinions as to its usefulness. Has anyone used this site in the past to look up title information, tax history, ownership information, etc.? Looks like it requires a monthly subscription but allows for unlimited property searches.

I'm wondering if this tool might be particularly interesting / useful for wholesalers who are looking for distressed properties?

Thanks in advance!

Tyler

Any realtor can provide you with a database file for tax records in a specific area for free. plus a realtor can give you valuable resale info for the same area.  If you use a realtor as a research assistant it doesn't hurt to either toss them a referral or if their state /broker allows, to pay for their time or gift them a dinner somewhere nice.
