NOVICE wholesale marketing budget advice?

Hello to all, my name is Kenneth Lee. I live in the N. Houston area of Houston, TX. I would say that I'm definitely a real estate investor at heart. I've always wanted to flip properties, even before all the shows(i still watch the reruns, even if its on my DVR).

I recently learned about the wholesale side of property flipping, im still in shock!!! After watching every Youtube video, and few how to manuals, i'm confident that THIS WORKS, and it will work for me!!!

I know what marketing IS THE LIFE of your business.....for us its internet leads, direct mail, bandit signs etc etc, the list goes on, im sure you know more than i do :D . My problem is....... I have no clue which is more effective.

I have $2,000.00 that i've put aside for my ADVENTURE's in wholesaleing. Mind you, this is the Business Start up money, there wont be anymore out of pocket marketing. With this $2,000.00 I HAVE TO get a deal out of it. I fought my wife TOOTH AND NAIL for that 2k...lol.
