Real Estate Strategy with what I already have

Hello BP, I need a bit of a guidence. I have multiple multi-plexes in California. I would like to buy more multi-plexes and invest in CA only. My question is what would be the best method (If only we had the secret potion, right). Should I get like a commercial unit, 5+ units or multiple 4 units (like I already have). Much feedback is appreciated. Thanks Nav
