Notice of Defaults in Indianapolis

I have been getting my leads for wholesaling via driving for dollars but recently decided to go for Notice of Defaults as well seeing as many of the call back I was getting were already receiving NOD's. I have been told I can find NOD's at the county clerks office. However, upon arrival they dont seem to know what I'm talking about. They say I can search for specific cases but that there is not a pool of them that I have access to. Is anyone else in Indianapolis getting their nod's here or is it not Indiana policy to allow access?
