Time period after a person dies to start doing business

I am in the midst of collecting probate information from the local courthouse to send off direct mail, and I was wondering on average what is the best time after the death of a family member to send of mail?

I want to be respectful to the family during their time of grieving but at the same time want to help the liquidate assets that they don't need and get deals done.

@Akiewole Williams

When you pull probate files the PR has already been confirmed by the court to represent the estate.

So the administration process has already started. You should be alright in sending your mailer(s).

Remember to show sympathy and compassion in the wording of your letter. In the Tools section of BiggerPockets go to FilePlace; Free Forms & Files for a sample probate letter to send to PR's (personal representative)..

Good luck...
