Hey everyone, I was curious if you all thought it is possible to whole sale houses while active duty military stationed overseas? I would like to get involved in real estate and was curious with what you all thought. Thank you!

 Hi Dylan,

I am not a wholesaler, but I am a former Marine.

I envision a huge part of the wholesaling thing as that 7 in the evening meeting at the dinner table with the distressed homeowner.

Getting to that point is the challenge that many seem to face, but being able to execute on that seems like it is also a critical component. I don't think you will be able to replicate that irreplaceable one-on-one eye-to-eye while overseas.

If you're just going to be a telephone warrior chasing listings and setting appointments for someone else, I suspect that you will have better luck as an appointment setter working for an agent instead of trying to do the fancy guru get rich quick wholesaling thing. And there's nothing wrong with being that telephone warrior appointment setter -- consider it training for when you get out & and are in a position to set appointments for yourself

That being said, feel free to prove me wrong!

S/F
