Direct mail campaign

I am taking steps towards getting started wholesaling on the side of my full time job for some extra cash (in Dallas).  The short-term goal is to completely replace the income from my job with the income from wholesaling.  The long-term goal is to take my wholesaling proceeds and build a multifamily portfolio.  First a few questions...

 1) I believe I know how to purchase the contact lists and what lists to look for, but is there a mailing service that will print, package, and ship your mail pieces for you?  Or is it just more efficient to have the mail service just print the postcards and you do the physical mailing work yourself?

2) Does it work to "drive for dollars" and knock on doors that show up on the county clerk pre-foreclosure list?

3) What kind of expense would I be looking at to do a campaign with one list where I mail the same list three times in a six week time period?

4) are there any coaching programs that anyone would recommend? Some of the program prices I've been quoted are close to $10k.... worth it?

Best,

Hunter Jarvis
