Hey BP community! Happy holiday season! As some already know I'm a property wholesaler in the Sioux Falls South Dakota area. One question I have every year is how the market turns in winter and during the holiday season. Would you slow down the marketing a little bit? Mail campaigns mainly. I just don't foresee many homeowners trying to deal with a move at this point with having to worry about the holidays, kids in school, cold weather, etc.. I know a motivated seller doesn't care about the timing. I understand life happens and when someone needs out, they need out. But in our area, a true "motivated seller" by definition is hard to come by. Last winter was not bad for my company, but this summer we killed it. So there is definitely a noticeable difference. As soon as Christmas is over we will be hitting it all hard again. One thing I've heard is as of the first of the year people are looking for new opportunities and ready for change, which makes sense. I just wanted to know others opinions on the housing market during their winter season! Have a stellar day!
