Can you have multiple JV partners?

I am doing wholesaling remotely and have a property under contract in New Orleans - NOLA. I've reached out to several wholesalers regarding JVing this property.

Hypothetically, if a few of them are interested in JVing with me, could I sign JV agreements with multiple people and whoever brings the buyer first gets to split the assignment with me?

How does this usually work?

Thanks

You can JV with as many as you like. Just be cautious, not all partners are really your friend..
