Question about Sole Proprietorship in FL

Hey BP,

I am pursuing a wholesaling career in Tallahassee FL.

So I've been thinking about what type of business structure I should use. I do not believe I need an LLC right now for wholesaling (i heard it is not needed) so I am choosing to be a sole proprietorship. I ran into this when I went to my bank to start a business account. The bank asked for a particular number regarding my LLC (which I don't have). I figured I don't need LLC because I'm not protecting any assets at the moment. But I want to operate as a business legally so my question revolves around licensing or permitting while using a Sole Proprietorship.

What type of licensing or permits do I need to use my sole proprietorship in Fl for Wholesaling Real Estate?

Thanks,

Brock Laramee
