Once you get licensed in ohio and you want to wholesale then what

I know everyone in ohio understands wholesaling is not allowed here if your not licensed ok ok we get that part ..... So my question is for us who go get or license and we still want to wholesale because we don't want to be a traditional realtor selling people homes to make a standard commission ... How do we go about it ? If we go with a broker won't they get half or deal profits ? What about if you don't need to put it on the MLS you have buyers why would you need a brokers services ? Is it just to hold your license ? I'm just to the point where it sucks to be in ohio when I have buddies in other states making good money of wholesaling . So if someone could help me get to the next steps in my journey I would appreciate it..
