Dealing with real estate agents

hello I'm currently new to wholesaling so I have a question about getting help from a real estate agent.

How could I get a real estate agent to get me a list of people who had listed there property but never sold it and had it pulled from the MLS. I'm only asking because I know its kind of a 2 way street with agents, you ask them for a favor and you should be able to offer them something in return but being new I feel like I don't really have anything to really offer them in return. How do I go about this situation?

Not really fair to ask them to do work they wont get paid for and most wont do it anyway knowing what you want it for unless you know them well.

Not hard to pull a list of expired listings, its a few entries in MLS. I prob get around 5 calls from agents when I let one expire, they may be less or more worked in different areas.

You can offer to throw them $50 (or a few beers if they are friends).  I'd recommend getting a license for your husband or yourself, though.  Its not that hard or expensive and you can do more with a license than without.  Contrary to what people like to say on here, you are essentially acting as a non-licensed agent wholesaling.  The license makes you disclose that you're an agent and you have to pay a broker some coin, but it also lets you take some listings which you'll stumble into if you are marketing to distressed homeowners.
