I am starting out in real estate business by wholesaling homes, the one question I have is where can one get information on if there is currently investors in this market, is there a sizable volume of people buying houses in the Chicago land area to sell homes to and where are they buying?

look for bandit signs and call them.

also go on Craigslist and go to the real estate section and look for ad's You can also Google "we buy houses" or "sell house fast" and call the numbers that comes up.

You can also affect your local REIA meetings.

@Miles White - If you have a good deal the buyers would be easy to find. Try networking at local REIA events

@Miles White, if you get the deals, you'll get the investors! There are plenty of investors, many right here on BP.

If you get anything in the North Side Chicago, Downtown or the suburbs around, send them through!

Chicagoland is huge - there are buyers everywhere. Find a good deal and you'll have no problem moving it.

I look at auction sites and find recent sales. You can then find the investors name by looking at land records.
