Is wholesaling bubble proof

I have 2 questions actually.  1)When all set up and running correctly would you consider the business of wholesaling bubble proof?  2) Congratulations you just made your first successful deal- Now how do you go about paying the tax man on such income?  Thanks for your input and much success in 2015.
