I'm more of a marketing guy. What if I partnered with someone who was more sales-oriented?

Marketing is much more interesting to me, and I have past success in this field. I was thinking of finding a wholesaler and partnering with them. I get the leads, he or she converts. Maybe split the profits 50/50.

Do you this arrangement could work? What should I look for in a partner?

I did this exact business model for 4 years. I partnered with a guy who handled all the marketing while I did all the closing. We both looked at the numbers on each deal individually and then compared notes. When we wrapped up the business, we were both ahead 7 figures. If you've really got the marketing down, you need to find a great closer. It can be very profitable for both of you.
