Text Message Marketing
I've been thinking about trying text message marketing. Based on my understanding of FTC regulations, I can't send out mass text messages to people who haven't opted in. Is text message marketing allowed if I individually send text messages to specific people? IE, I have a VA send them out individually. It seems like a great marketing technique but I'd like to avoid the fines the FTC has for mass texting / vm marketing.

You're fine for 90 days after they make the initial telephone call. So take your inbounds callers number and build an autoresponder message to them. More than every 30 days is too frequent.
Also remember that texts are actually driven with email as well so you can use a service like Data-247 to convert the cell number into an email address... Very easy to do..
