Hello,

I have a weird situation.  I know through a friend that someone in my area is interested in selling but only has the address that is potentially for sale.  Through some minor googling, I was able to find the owner's name.  I tried to look up an email or phone number for the potential seller and came up empty.  With that said, I did find what I am 99% sure to be him on facebook.  Can I ask him over facebook if he owns the property and if he s willing to sell?  Is this taboo?  How can I word it?

Thanks.
