Wholesaling/Flipping from a distance

I will be moving around over the next year. First ill be moving to california for 8 months or less and after that ill be moving to Colorado Springs. How hard is it to do generate leads, secure a house, find buyers, and close out deals from a distance. Im sure i could generate leads and make calls from a distance, but im worried about closing day if im assigning a buyer to buy the sellers home and making a wholesale fee, would i be able to do that whole process from a distance. Im hoping to start generating momentum in the area while im away so that when i come back I have a network base already built up.

Might want to run a search on Virtual Wholesaling. Its not easy is the short answer. I had 2-3 years experience in local wholesaling before moving sections of it virtual.

Day of closing isnt even near the top of your priorities, they can do mail out closings easily. Negotiating with sellers, getting a good idea of the actual condition of the property without seeing it, getting buyers into the property easily, etc etc etc are your main issues virtually. Building rapport with sellers virtually is not exactly easy either. Good luck and let me know if you need anything, I'm in Denver but working in the springs right now as well.
