I would like to know how to get paid if i help a wholesaler find a cash buyer..I want to protect myself and make sure i get paid..

Then you want to provide a written agreement -- joint venture agreement to co-wholesale on deals with the person in question. You bring the buyer and they bring the seller. You might want to consult with a real estate attorney to have the contract drawn up / reviewed.
