Using ads to generate leads
Has anyone had success using facebooks ads to generate leads? Looking to get more active in generating leads and seemed like an easy way to start.

Facebook ads, PPC, SEO, DMM, COld calling, what ever marketing you are using, there is but ONE golden rule for success.
Approach the right audience, with the right message.
Note, there are 2 things here.
1. Audience
2. Message
Not just audience.
Your audiuence may be motivated but if your message is just "sell me your house for cash" you are not going to see much traction.
If your message is "I have food", and your audience is starving, your message resonates 100% with the pain point your ideal audience is experiencing.
I call this "Message Resonance".
Message resonance is a concept I have developed to evaluate and visualize how effective your marketing strategy truly is.
In the above example you have a 100% message resonance. Your message of I have food, resonates 100% with the painpoint your audience is experiencing.
a 100% message resonance will give you 100% conversions. Every single person will opt in, fill in your form, wants food when they are starving.
Now like I said, no matter what you do, cold claling, driving for dollars, SMS, FB ads.... the ONLY thing that matters is message resonance.
NOW, some strategies make it impossible to focus on message resonance.
DMM, cold calling, anything to do with a list... you have zero control over how much your message resonates with the pain point your audience is experiencing, and that is why those methods have poor results.
On the other hand, Facebook has a HUGE super power, Facebook knows audiences.
Facebook knows when you showered last, what your favorite food is, who you have a crush on, what your favorite band is. Heck Facebook knows what you had for lunch the third Sunday of Feb 2011.
So if you leverage your FB ad angle, creative and audience correctly, it is guaranteed to work.
Remember, use at least 4 angles, 5 creatives, and 10 audiences, and have FB construct every possible combination of these 3 and then cull the losers and scale the winning ads.
