What is the most cost effective & reliable SMS marketing
Hi All,
I've used Launch Control for a few years, but the system has been down for a week and a half due to TCPA issues. I have no idea when/if they will fix their issues. Is there a TCPA compliant platform that lets me text on of rotating numbers and text templates to maximize deliverability?
I usually text 10-12k property owners with 1-3 possible mobile phone numbers per month. I'm looking for something around the $700 price range (not including skiptracing/lead sourcing).
What do y'all use? Is it user friendly? I don't really like to companies that make you sign up for something else (like Twilio). I'm not that tech savvy.
Following this thread to see what responses come up.

Hey @Austin Bright,
We use batch leads for our SMS campaigns, which has been working for us. We send 3,000 messages a day with rotating 48 phone numbers from Plivo. Our deliverability right now is 97%
Feel free to reach out with any questions!
The route David mentioned will work for now, but snowshoeing is frowned upon by carriers and will eventually (sooner rather than later) die as a marketing tactic. I'd advise you to pick a service that partners with the Campaign Registry to let you register a phone number in order to comply with TCPA and benefit from optimal deliverability. As long as your opt-ins are legitimate and you are able to verify the number you're sending from, you shouldn't have any issues: https://www.webfx.com/blog/marketing/sms-software/
Any new strategies now that the dust has settled around TCPA? We are still using Launch Control and its improved slightly. Delivery is at 98% but response rates are still abysmal (3-6%). Could use any advice!

@David Ramirez do you have any deals on nj or Ohio
If you're looking for something in Ohio my company is launching a campaign this month and we're targeting counties in Ohio. Reach out to me so I can get your criteria and if i find something that fits what you're looking for we can get something done.

Following up on this thread to provide a quick update.
We had to stop all of our SMS campaigns back in December. Carriers are blocking any Real Estate-related messages, and 10DLC campaigns are not being approved if they relate to Real Estate. Batchleads' response was to suggest lying about the industry to get the campaign accepted, which we obviously did not do and strongly advise against if you wish to avoid getting sued.
My current marketing channels are outsourced cold calling and PPC.

I've only seen one investor's analysis of their PPC campaign and they say it costs them about $7,000 per deal closed. That may include all costs such as overhead, personnel time, office, taxes and so on. He is a pretty thorough investor. He compares that to cold calling, where he was getting better results. He’s committed to PPC though. I think he said his average deal with PPC is about $25,000.
Yep. I can keep you posted on how our PPC campaigns go. We just launched them last week!

The biggest thing for SMS marketing (follow up no lead gen) is: Making sure people know they're being added to an SMS list. Giving them an option to unsubscribe. And overall, watching you spam rate. AS the spam rate goes up your phone number gets less trusted with the carriers.

Hi Paul, how are you initiating contact to get to follow up?
@Austin Bright Over the past three years, I’ve been using most of the major off-market techniques.
Of all the methods, texting has been a double-edged sword. It often feels like a constant game of cat and mouse with phone carriers. While it’s relatively simple and can help you find deals, it’s also time-consuming. You still need to qualify leads, and the carrier obstructions that come and go can derail your momentum. If I had to choose, I would always prefer cold calling over texting for this approach.
