Sending Postcards / Letters

Justin Blair

When sending out postcards or letters to absentee owners, what address do you use for a return address? A PO Box possibly?

I’m asking because I would prefer to not use my personal address.

Appreciate any assistance.

Thanks

I use a PO Box. I have heard everything from USPS to UPS store which gives you a street address and some folks that do hand written swear by their own address to show they are in the community.

I have seen enough hate mail come in to never want to use my home address for anything. From simple “Seller is dead you can contact him in Heaven” to “I will burn you and your whole Jew family at the stake.”
Brandon Turner also had an interesting story about a tenant showing up at his house. 😳

I understand where @Bruce Woodruff is coming from on the PO Box front. But the reality is you *are* selling something and in your case you are using postcards not hand written letters so I don’t think there is going to be a significant response difference over tens of thousands of mailings. Just my 2 cents.
