Connecting with Relocation Specialists

Bruce Rasquinha
Posted

Hi,

I've recently joined this group, and am looking forward to insights I may get regarding my rental property in Castle Rock,CO. I'm interested in working with insurance companies on housing displaced families. How do I get connected with their relocation specialists?

List the property on insurance relocation companies like CRS Temporary Housing

Yes, as Jaime mentioned reach out direct to companies like CRS and ALE Solutions and try and develop a relationship to have your property used for insurance placements.

If you only have one MTR property, it's unlikely you'll get much attention from relocation specialists. CRS and ALE Solutions has a place on their website where you can add your property to their database, that's an easy start. These companies often look for housing on Airbnb and Furnished Finder so definitely list on those sites as well.

Once you get your first inquiry, nurture that relationship and think about how you can provide them value and be a problem solver for them.

As @Allen Duan mentioned, it can be tough to get traction with insurance placement companies if you only have one property but that shouldn't stop you from listing with them anyway. It's a good use of your time and you want to be in their databases. I also recommend you look for someone in your area who is brokering properties for insurance placement companies. I know we have several of these companies on the west coast and I'm sure you have some in CO as well. I know Craftsman Homes is doing this in CA but am not sure how far their reach is. Perhaps Erin Spradlin or James Carlson know of someone in your area.
