Future Booking Requests
How far out in the future do you allow bookings and why? I have someone now wanting to rent my place about 13 months from now. I’’m not totally comfortable with that, but it brought up a good question that I need to determine my policy on future bookings.
Thanks!

At the minimum, you want to increase your rates for further out bookings. Anything beyond your next vacancy really. The rationale is that those bookings create an inconvenience for you to maximize your occupancy rate, but if someone is willing to pay a premium for a further out booking, it could be worth it. You have to decide how much of a premium you need for your inconvenience.
We rarely get requests more than 6 months out though. 13 months is extreme!
