Anyone who is house hacking by renting by room, how do you handle the tenant move-in/out condition report? Do you limit it to just their room or do you include all common areas as well?

How do you handle damage to common areas?

The process involves completing a condition statement form and recording a comprehensive video of just their room.

Trying to pin fault on something in the common area when renting rooms gets complicated .
Just make sure the room rent price can cover that or at least help.
