Duplex vs. SFR (w/In-Law)
I’m a first time home buyer in the Orlando, FL area looking to house hack a duplex, but I’m generally seeing better affordability with SFRs with in-law suites. Does anyone have any thoughts on this and do you have any experience doing it? Is the juice worth the squeeze?

@Jordan Alequin I have found that a SFH with a suite or a separate unit (cottage, walkout basement, garage conversion) can be a better ROI than a duplex. Things to think about:
1. Duplex may make an easier exit plan
2. Run the numbers and see which better helps you meet your goals
