Mitigating Risk in Your House Hack... Horror Stories

Anyone out there with House Hack Horror stories? I have a couple... any insight would be much appreciated as I plan on growing my portfolio in the near future through House Hacking!

    Fortunately, we haven't had any Horror Stories (yet 🤞). Just think through failure scenarios and devise mitigation strategies ahead of time.

    In our case, we are renting by the room. So we were preactive in keeping tenants from having fights. For example, we provide all shared supplies (trash bags, dishwashing pods, cookware, toilet paper for shared bathroom) so that tenants won't fight about whose turn it is to purchase supplies. We also label the shelves in the pantry and fridge so that tenants have a designated space and don't have to worry about having room ornot.

    So just try to think ahead about issues like this 😀
